If you want to host multiple websites under a single domain name, you’ll need to create subdomains. In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through how to create a subdomain in Webuzo hosting easily, even if you’re a beginner.
Let’s get started without wasting any time!
A subdomain is a part of your main domain that works as a separate section or website.
For example, if your main domain is tutorial.com, you can create subdomains like blog.tutorial.com or pos.tutorial.com.
Each of these subdomains can host a completely different website or application while still being connected to your main domain.
Subdomains are very useful when you want to:
For example, our main website is amar.host, and we use bd.amar.host as a subdomain for Bangla content.
Many people get confused between subdomains and addon domains, so here’s a simple comparison:
In short, a subdomain is part of your main domain, while an addon domain is an entirely different domain connected to the same hosting account.
Now, let’s see how to create a subdomain in Webuzo step by step.
First, log in to your Webuzo Control Panel.
Once logged in, you’ll find the Domain section on the main dashboard. Click either Manage Domain or Add Domain. For this example, click Add Domain.
You’ll now see a form to add a domain. Under Domain Type, select Sub Domain. (If you want to add a completely new domain, choose “Addon Domain.”)
In the Domain field, enter the first part of your subdomain — for example, blog. Your full subdomain will automatically become blog.yourdomain.com.
blog
Webuzo will automatically create a directory path for your subdomain. You can keep the default path or change it to your preferred folder.
Finally, click Save to create the subdomain. That’s it! Your subdomain is now active and ready to use.
Creating a subdomain in Webuzo is a quick and effective way to host multiple websites or testing environments under one main domain. It helps you manage projects efficiently, saves money, and improves your workflow.
Whether you’re building a blog, testing environment, or a separate section of your main website, subdomains make it easy to stay organized.
